Trakošćan Castle, Krapina Neanderthal Museum

After breakfast departure to one of the most beautiful locations in Croatia-Trakošćan Castle site. Trakošćan is certainly one of the most beautiful castles in Croatia. It is a 13th century hilltop castle and has been renovated in the neo-Gothic style in 1850s. Explore the museum inside and imagine how splendid it must have been to live there. Enjoy a walk in the park with a lake below the hilltop. After the tour your next stop will be Krapina Neanderthal Museum. Learn about people of Krapina from the Stone Age, who lived in this area 125,000 years ago. The exhibition is set up as a time machine through the history of the Universe, the Earth and Man, leading up to the present day, and lays special emphasis on the Neanderthal period. Return to Zagreb in early afternoon.

Day 3

Zagreb - NP Plitvice - Zadar

In the morning you will continue your tour to Dalmatia and city of Zadar. On your way you will stop at NP Plitvice Lakes. Breathtakingly beautiful, Plitvice Lakes is UNESCO World Heritage site and oldest national park in Croatia. The waters flowing over the limestone and chalk have, over thousands of years, deposited travertine barriers, creating natural dams which in turn have created a series of beautiful lakes, caves and waterfalls. Walk on wooden bridges and drive on electric boats so that you can experience firsthand this nature's wonder. Lunch will be organized. After your tour you will continue your drive to Zadar. Arrival in early evening.

Zadar - Nin - Split

In the morning after breakfast visit small town of Nin, just 10 min away from Zadar, a little historical city well known for its sandy beaches, salt museum and one of the oldest churches in the world. There for youngest children treasure hunt tour is available. After a delicious brunch, the time will come to explore Zadar's rich cultural and historical heritage which influenced whole Dalmatian architecture, not only in the past but the contemporary architecture, as well. VR tour of this 3000-year-old town is available. Enjoy the tour and finish next to unique sea-organs, one of a kind in the world.

Option: On route to Split, near town of Šibenik visit falconry center dedicated to education of younger generations about these birds and helping injured birds get back to their natural habitat.

Zadar – Split

Family mean in private home Split Croatia

Just 1,5 hours away from Zadar is Split, 2nd largest city of Croatia. After checking in your hotel enjoy some free time to explore this 17-century old town. In the evening we will organize a family mean in private home just outside of Split. Learn about local food, participate yourself, talk with your host and for an evening be the locals. After dinner transfer back to your hotel.

Split - Dubrovnik

In the morning after tour of Split transfer to Dubrovnik. Free afternoon and evening.

Option: in the morning before lunch family quad adventure can be organized and then after lunch transfer to Dubrovnik (3 hours).

Dubrovnik - Sea Kayak

In the morning after your breakfast private walking tour of Dubrovnik’s city center will be organized. Irish author George Bernard Shaw wrote, “Those who seek paradise on Earth must come to Dubrovnik.” The Old Town protected by city walls is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. A walk along the ramparts reveals a different view of the Elafiti Islands and Old Town. On your tour with your local guide you will see Onofrio fountain, the city bell tower and numerous medieval buildings. Entire tour of Dubrovnik can be suited to include Game of Thrones, since Dubrovnik was one of the main locations for filming.

For teens options of sea kayaking around the city walls is available after breakfast.
